Kitchen Worktops

Kitchen worktops make a huge impact on the overall look of your new kitchen. Wood, granite, Corian, quartz, laminate? We can help you choose.

Choosing the right kitchen worktops for your new kitchen makes a massive difference to the overall impact of the scheme.

The challenge is to consider what you want to use the work surface for; how durable you need it to be; and just what kind of effect you wish to create.

In our experience, you can virtually never have enough worktop space in a kitchen, so it will have a dramatic impact on the overall look. Choose wisely.

The choice can be mind boggling from real wood, granite, Corian, Quartz, FENIX NTM®, laminate and a selection of eco-friendly options – and the colour, design, style, texture and thickness add to the decision making process.

We have samples of worktops in our showroom. Choose the one that meets your needs and then let our specialists template them and ensure a perfect look and fit. Our suppliers have years of experience in templating, shaping and fitting kitchen worktops, upstands and splashbacks. Whatever type of units you have, we’ll help to ensure a stunning outcome.

More than just a worktop

A worktop is so much more than a food preparation area in today’s modern kitchens. Worktops are invariably a place for meeting, chatting, having a drink, doing the homework, checking social media with a coffee or simply enjoying some family time.

Cleaning your worktop

Depending on the type of worktop, cleaning them effectively can make a huge difference to how they look. A microfibre – or E-cloth – is one of the best methods of cleaning worktops to get that great finish. All you need is a damp cloth – and no chemicals are required.

The best way to choose the worktop that is right for your new kitchen is to book an appointment to visit our showroom in St Ives where we have a wide selection on view. You can see and feel them – and also understand the differences in colour, texture and effects.
