Kitchen FAQs

What are our most heard kitchen FAQs? Here's a few

Can you give me a guideline as to what a kitchen may cost?

This is a little like asking the length of a piece of string – it all depends on the size of the kitchen, the products and appliances chosen and so on. Some customers give us a ballpark budget to which we work; others provide their ‘wish list’ and then tweak to their budget but we can usually give customers a ballpark idea of cost depending on the size and complexity of the project at a pretty early stage.

What is the lead time for installation once we have made our decision to go ahead?

Once all the decisions we need from you have been made, the usual lead time is 5 to 6 weeks but we arrange installations to suit a client’s schedules.  Product coming from abroad -such as Germany or Ireland – may take a little longer

How long will the installation take and what level of disruption can we expect?

Every project is different but we will provide a detailed schedule of activity and ensure that we stick to it. You will know in advance how long we plan to be on site and any likely disruption to daily family life, although we obviously do everything we can to minimise that. You may like to read our page about our approach to installing kitchens

Is there a charge for the design service?

We offer a free, no obligation design service using the latest Computer Aided Design software with unlimited free changes to the scheme. You may like to read our page about our approach to kitchen design

What guarantees do you provide?

We do not expect any of our customers to ever require the security blanket of a guarantee such is our confidence in what we build and install but we want you to be completely reassured. We offer a five year guarantee that your kitchen will remain structurally sound and it covers any defects. The terms of our guarantee is here

How far would you travel to fit a kitchen?

We have fitted kitchens right across the UK but the majority of our projects are within a 50-mile radius of our St Ives showroom in Cambridgeshire – although in reality there are no geographic limits.

Do you use your own employees or contractors?

We work regularly with a carefully selected team of specialist tradesmen with different skill sets to ensure the highest possible standards. We oversee every project very closely – employing a fully qualified project manager – from start to finish to ensure we deliver the ultimate outcome.

Do you dispose of our old kitchen?

We will dispose of your old kitchen and ensure it is recycled in the most environmentally friendly way to minimise the amount going to landfill. Where materials can be recycled we ensure this is actioned. There’s more information found here

Do you supply only?
