Like all good businesses, Nicholas Hythe Kitchens takes its environmental responsibilities very seriously and guides almost everything it does.
About 90 per cent of all supplies and services are from the UK – to help support local businesses where possible but also to keep delivery miles down to a minimum and reduce the company’s green footprint.
Old kitchens removed from client’s homes are sorted by our contractor into recyclables to reduce the amount of waste going into local landfill.
All wood is supplied from sustainable sources and everything we supply is reviewed to ensure it is environmentally sympathetic including lighting, appliances, fixtures and fittings. We can even offer an ‘eco friendly’ worktop option.
Influencing what we can
We recognise that we will not affect global warming on our own – but if all companies and businesses and individuals adopt a responsible approach, together a great deal can be achieved. We are determined to play our part in that process.
We are always reviewing what we can do to further improve our green credentials and consider ourselves to be local business ambassadors for supporting environmental responsibility.
